A local team, born and raised in the shadow of Kilimanjaro, building trips we would happily take ourselves.
Who we are
East Africa Footprints is a locally owned tour operator working from Moshi and Arusha. Our guides grew up on these trails and in these parks. Between them they have led well over a thousand summit attempts and thousands of game-drive days, and that experience is the reason our climbers reach Uhuru Peak at a rate far above the park average.
We keep our groups small, we plan itineraries with real acclimatisation built in, and we quote honestly — park fees, rescue fees, transfers and hotels included, with no surprises at the gate.

Fair treatment of crews
We follow KPAP wage and load guidelines: proper pay, three hot meals a day, sleeping gear and jackets for every porter.
Safety on the mountain
Twice-daily pulse-oximeter and health checks, supplementary oxygen, a first-aid-certified guide on every climb and evacuation plans for each route.
Responsible travel
Reusable water systems, all waste carried off the mountain, and locally sourced food and staff wherever possible.
