โ โ โ โ โUhuru Peak on the Lemosho Route
Eight days that I will remember forever. The guides checked our oxygen twice a day, kept the pace slow and every one of the six of us stood on the summit at sunrise. Food on the mountain was far better than I expected.
โ โ โ โ โMachame with a first-time trekker
I had never slept above 3,000 m before. The team explained everything, from breathing to layering, and never once made me feel like the slow one. Summit night was brutal but the guides carried the mood the whole way.
โ โ โ โ โRiver crossings in the northern Serengeti
We waited three hours at the Mara River and it was worth every minute. Our guide knew exactly where to park and we had the crossing almost to ourselves. Camp was spotless and the staff were wonderful.
โ โ โ โ โNgorongoro exceeded everything
Black rhino on the first morning, then lions on a kill before lunch. The vehicle was in excellent condition and the whole trip ran exactly to the itinerary we agreed by WhatsApp months earlier.
โ โ โ โ โNorthern Circuit โ worth the extra days
Nine days felt long on paper and short in reality. We barely saw other groups until the summit push. Acclimatisation was gentle and nobody in our group suffered altitude sickness.
โ โ โ โ โTarangire's elephants
Hundreds of elephants around the baobabs. Our guide's bird knowledge was extraordinary โ he identified over ninety species for us across the week.
โ โ โ โ โMarangu huts, great value
We chose Marangu for the huts and it was the right call in the rain. Warm, dry and well organised. The porters were treated properly, which mattered a lot to us.
โ โ โ โ โBalloon over the Serengeti
The fly-in safari was flawless from the first airstrip to the last. Sunrise from the balloon and then breakfast on the plains โ genuinely one of the best mornings of my life.
โ โ โ โ โRongai in the shoulder season
Dry, quiet and beautiful. Mawenzi Tarn camp at dusk is something else. Communication before the trip was quick and honest about what to expect.
โ โ โ โ โCalving season on the southern plains
Wildebeest calves everywhere and cheetah hunting in the open. Our guide positioned us perfectly every single time without ever crowding the animals.
โ โ โ โ โFamily trip with two teenagers
The pace was right for our kids, the drivers were patient and the Zanzibar days at the end were the perfect reward. Booking was simple and the quote never changed.
โ โ โ โ โSummited at 61
I was the oldest in the group by fifteen years. Slow and steady, plenty of tea, and a guide who watched me like a hawk. Standing at Uhuru was the proudest moment of my life.
โ โ โ โ โSouthern wilderness, no crowds
Nyerere and Ruaha were empty compared with the north. The boat safari on the Rufiji was a highlight โ hippos, crocodiles and fish eagles all afternoon.
โ โ โ โ โUmbwe for something harder
Steep from the first hour and almost nobody on the trail. Exactly what I wanted. The team handled the tougher logistics on this route without any fuss.
โ โ โ โ โShort Big Five trip after a conference
Four days and we saw all five. Efficient, well planned and genuinely friendly from the airport pickup onwards.
โ โ โ โ โBest mountain crew
The porters and cooks made the trip. Hot water every morning, a proper dining tent and singing at Barafu that lifted everyone before summit night.
โ โ โ โ โGreat safari, long drive day
Everything was well run and the wildlife was superb. The only thing I would change is the long transfer day to the Serengeti โ worth flying if your budget allows, as they suggested.
โ โ โ โ โMachame, seven days, all summited
Clear briefings, honest advice about which route to pick and no hidden costs. They talked me out of the six-day option and they were right.
โ โ โ โ โPhotographers welcome
I asked for early starts and long sits at sightings and that is exactly what I got. Bean bags in the vehicle, no rushing to the next park.
โ โ โ โ โClimb then crater then beach
They arranged the whole three weeks: Lemosho, Ngorongoro and Zanzibar. One point of contact, one invoice, zero stress.
โ โ โ โ โPrivate guide, private vehicle
Worth paying for the private option. We set our own hours and the guide adapted the plan daily based on where the cats were.
โ โ โ โ โWell organised from the first email
Replies within an hour on WhatsApp, a clear packing list and rental gear that was actually in good condition. Summit at 6:40 am in perfect weather.
โ โ โ โ โMigration in the north
Three crossings in two days. Our guide's radio network and his patience made the difference between watching and waiting.
โ โ โ โ โSolo traveller, felt safe throughout
As a woman travelling alone I was looked after from arrival to departure. Professional, respectful and genuinely warm people.
